Everyone has problems. Everyone has something that they want to complain about. Everyone has an issue with something in the world and wishes that it would change. Everyone has something that they defend passionately. However, not everyone offers a solution to the problem. And that …. is a problem itself.
A few years back, I was engaged in a discussion with a handful of people through facebook about something that was so unimportant that I no longer remember what it was. Many people were becoming fairly heated through the conversation to the point that they were beginning to verbally attack each other instead of the topic.
A friend of mine stepped into the conversation and made a point. He said, “It is okay to have complaints. It is okay to disagree with someone else about something. However, come to the table ready to suggest a change. Don’t just come to complain.” That has always stuck with me and it is perfectly stated here by Craig Jarrow over at Time Management Ninja.

Friends, here is the truth. There are a lot of things going on in the world today that are worthy of anger. There are many conversations that need to be had that will require disagreements. Educate yourself to the needs of the problem. The issues need to be addressed. Write about them. Talk about them.
But, bring an answer to the problem, not just more problems.
Life is Strange. Live it Well.
